Research Interests:
Sociomicrobiology, R-pyocins, quorum sensing, biofilms, chronic infection, antimicrobial resistance
Overview:
We are based in the Center for Microbial Dynamics & Infection at Georgia Tech. We study how pathogens behave, adapt and evolve inside chronic infections, and we are using that biology to develop precision antimicrobials that target antibiotic-resistant strains without the collateral damage of broad-spectrum drugs.
